Personal

Journey is a very versatile utility player, able to slot in at shortstop, third base and any of the three outfield positions.  In her collegiate career, she has played every position except pitcher and catcher, so she adds flexibility to a roster.

At the plate, she makes consistent contact, has batted anywhere in the lineup from 1-9, and has some power.  Her exit velocity ranges in the low 70s (mph).

As a teammate, she leads by example and can be vocal when necessary.  She is the type who consistently puts in extra repetitions in practice in the quest for continual improvement.

She also has coaching experience she can led to a club’s staff.  She has coached in Summer travel ball and youth camp coach for UCLA, Cal State University-Northridge, CSE Sports, and Nike softball. She has continued to coach and give private lessons, as well as practice with a 18-U travel team.
