Jose features a fast ball, change-up, slider and sinker.  His fastball velocity ranges from 88 to 91 mph.  He also throws a slider (78-80mph) and sinker (86-88).

He describes himself as a high-energy person and an excellent team player.  He says, “I like to contribute and learn.  I’m disciplined, a collaborator and a motivator.  I’m committed to the team and the organization.” He is a good teammate, willing to give everything for the team and to help his teammates correct their mechanics and recover from an error.

Jose is working out and training regularly to stay in top physical condition and keep his baseball skills at a high level.  He also cycles regularly to help his conditioning.

“I am considered a motivating teammate. I am always in the dugout supporting the team to move forward regardless of the circumstances. I like to coach mistakes. I would have no problem helping my teammates to correct them.”

Jose wants to extend his playing career, while continuing to learn and helping to grow the game globally.

“I want to take my career overseas to get more experience as a pitcher and show the experience that I’ve gained. I have kept in shape by training at a baseball academy that is responsible for getting signings for the MLB.”
