Personal

Four years of college baseball at Johnson University (2014-2018)as a pitcher and outfielder. Hit over .300 in both my junior and senior years. Sat mid to upper 80s as a pitcher with a fastball, curveball, slider, and changeup. In my senior year, I struck out 50 batters in 54.1 innings pitched. Named to the 2nd team all-regional team for the NCCAA my senior year. Played in the 2019 California winter league where I hit .292 batting average with 24 at-bats, and a 1.81 era with 19.1 innings pitched.

Overseas goals:

  • Extend my career a little longer before hanging them up
  • Use overseas as a stepping stone into professional ball in the U.S.
  • Experience new cultures and meet new people
  • Use my knowledge and experience to help grow the game globally.

Ben Fair

Johnson University, Head baseball coach and assistant athletic director

I can’t say enough about him on and off the field. He’s a man of high character and always strived to be his best in the classroom and on the field, and his work ethic is unparalleled. He was a tremendous teammate and one that the guys looked up to because of his servant leadership. He also has a keen understanding of the game itself, he’s a very smart baseball player. Has the ability to see situations and make quick decisions. I feel very fortunate to have coached Jonathan for 4 years.
