Personal
John offers versatility. Though he is primarily an outfielder, he can also play first base. He is more of a line-drive hitter with good backspin and uses the opposite side of the field well. Defensively, he has very good speed and an above-average arm, with very good ability to track down balls in the outfield. John describes himself as one who has “good energy and is open to helping teammates,” however necessary. “I am always in getting extra work before and after practices.” Since the end of his most recent season, John has been regularly training and working in the batting cage. He’s also been long-tossing to keep his arm strong.
