Personal

At my core, I am a run producer, a versatile athlete, and a proven winner. I have led and won championships at every level I have played, from HS to Division 1. As a young JuCo prospect, I began tapping into my power. This newfound power parlayed with my already developed ability to barrel baseballs for high average and skill-set as a defensive standout sparked the beginning of a very fruitful college career. At Santa Barbara CC, I earned ABCA/Rawlings All-Region and All-American honors, All-State, and All-So Cal, as well as Western State Conference North Division Co-Player of the Year and 1st team All-Western State North Division selection as a Catcher. There I hit .372 and slugged .553 in regular-season play.

My JuCo performance earned me a Division 1 scholarship to Loyola Marymount, where I helped lead my school to their first conference title in 17 years. After an underwhelming start to my final season, I scorched through West Coast Conference play where I earned All-WCC honors as an Outfielder, and never slowed down until our historic season ended. During WCC conference play I led the team in OB% (.454), SLUG (.579), 2B (10) and was second on the team in RBIs, HRs, and SBs.

As a man and a coach, I am a lifelong learner, passionately curious and effective leader/communicator. I have an uncommon knack for taking complex movements and concepts and simplifying then relaying this information. I pride myself on my growing knowledge of the offensive side of the game and am excited for the opportunity to continue learning and growing this beautiful game worldwide.

Since graduating, I have been training with athletes from youth ball up to professional baseball and all levels in between, expanding my knowledge of the game and observing through a different lens- as a coach and instructor. While serving as an instructor, I have also been training aggressively for the last few months and am absolutely game ready.

Jimmy would be a great addition to any team. He is a talented player with a full skill set. He can hit for average and power and will steal bases. He worked as hard as any player I have ever coached and has a high baseball IQ. I would recommend Jimmy to any organization as a person and an athlete.
