Henri is a lefthanded-hitting outfielder who uses all fields and can hit for both average and power.  He has above-average speed (6.6 seconds in the 60-yard dash), which is an asset defensively and on the base paths.

He is an excellent defensive centerfielder, having twice won the Gold Glove award in his college league, with very good range to take away balls in the gaps that might otherwise drop for extra bases.  He has a strong arm (90+ mph on throws).

In addition to center field, he has played both corner outfield positions, as well as third base, second base, and short stop so he brings versatility to a club.

Henri trains and works out six days a week to stay in top condition and keep his baseball skills sharp.

He has also been a youth coach in the past and would enjoy helping a club’s coaching staff.

Henri describes himself as an “unselfish teammate who values team success over personal success. I am highly energetic and supportive and foster a competitive and intense environment.”

Marc Deschenes, a former U.S. minor-leaguer and Henri’s coach, says, “Henri is one of the best defensive outfielders I’ve coached.  He is highly dynamic in the outfield.  He’s able to take away extra bases and can use his arm as a weapon.”

Career Highlights

  • 2x all-league high school player in the very competitive ISL (Independent Sports League)

  • All-league SCIAC (Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) centerfielder

  • 2x Gold Glove winner for Claremont McKenna College

  • College career highs: .311 BA, .461 Slugging, 4HR, 31 RBI (40 Games)

Overseas Goals

Henri says, “[An overseas] opportunity is one that will allow me to continue my baseball career [and] also allow me to travel the world and experience cultures and traditions that are foreign to me. I am someone who values experience and connections over everything else, and this opportunity will help me pursue these two passions.”

Video Highlights

Marc Deschenes

Ex MLB Pitcher / Coach

Henri has played for me for many years and I can confidently say that he is one of the best defensive outfielders I have ever coached. He is highly dynamic in the outfield, able to take away extra bases, and can use his arm as a weapon. He also possesses a high baseball IQ that makes him that much more dependable.

As a hitter, Henri sprays the ball gap to gap and has the ability to hit for power. He is a top of the lineup hitter that can consistently get on base and runs the bases aggressively.

Bill Walkenbach

College Coach

I had the pleasure of coaching Henri for four years at Claremont McKenna and was impressed not only with his talent on the field, but the character he displayed off the field. Henri is a dynamic defensive player and possesses the capabilities of a top of the lineup hitter. He is someone that can impact the game with his athleticism, his intensity, and his commitment to the team.
