I provide a direct communication style with a detail oriented approach that sets a high standard of focus in the practice/preparation setting. During competition I try to give the players that space they need to process the game as it comes to them.
4 years experience in NCAA D2 college baseball and a year overseas coaching in the Academy setting in Suzhou, China. 2022 Because Baseball Coaching Fellow – Cairo, Egypt. Infield, baserunning, and hitting specialization but can coach all facets of the game if necessary. USA Baseball and NCAA Certified.
I have a holistic coaching style centered on developing the player and the person. This game is a great metaphor for life and reveals character traits that can be difficult to uncover in our day to day routines. Baseball is about making plays, not avoiding mistakes. If we can remove the fear of failure from our players it gives them to freedom to play the game for fun and the chance to reach their highest potential.

I watched Gunner play for 4 years at USF and coached with him for 2 years. Gunner not only made plays as an All-Conference SS, but puts his student-athletes in positions to make plays. He truly loves the game, the people and the process. He has the ability to challenge/coach draftable players and players who are playing the game for the love of it.
