Personal
I throw a 4-seam FB (90-95 mph), Slider (86-89 mph), Changeup (82-85 mph). I have very strong command of all pitches in every count and am confident in throwing each of them whenever needed.
I played first base most of my early baseball career through high school before leaving for college. Even in one of my summer ball teams during my college career, I played first base briefly and excelled defensively while still contributing well offensively.
I am very much the type of teammate who is always positive and looking to help my teammates and the organization however I can. Another skill that I have is that I can pick up languages quite quickly and learning them comes much more easily to me than it does to others. Currently, I am fluent in French and proficient in Spanish! I really look forward to playing and living in a place where I can immerse myself in a new culture. On the field, I tend to always see the positive side of things even when they don’t go to plan. I am very open and willing to help teammates wherever the need may be. I have a year of experience as a professional coach, so I am very well-versed in pitching and hitting mechanics, plus I am especially strong in executing and coaching the mental approach to pitching and hitting.
Career highlights
The highlights of my career have been winning championships with the Kansas City Monarchs in the American Association and the Amarillo Sod Poodles in AA with the Diamondbacks organization. Reaching the pinnacle of each of those leagues taught me so much about what it means to compete both when everything is going well and when things get harder during the playoffs at the end of a long season. In both of those teams, I navigated lineups of former and current MLB players and always was able to keep my team in a position to win the game. Most importantly, with these teams, I learned how best to prepare before my starts with scouting reports and was also able to develop routines that worked best for games I started as well as games when I came out of the bullpen.
Coaching
I am primarily looking to contribute as a player on the field, but am absolutely willing to help coach within the organization wherever the need may be. I am not currently looking for a position as a head coach, but am more than happy to assist with youth or other areas of the organization.
Overseas Goals
Personally, I want to use my talents to continue my career overseas while experiencing a new culture! I have a very strong desire to live and play/coach in a new place and I know that I will be able to contribute to the growth of an organization from an on-field performance perspective as well as through my coaching abilities. I want to be an integral part of the development of baseball talent wherever I go, and I know that my experience has well-equipped me to do so.
Current Fitness Level
I have been rehabbing and training for the past year and a half while recovering from Tommy John surgery in April 2025. I had it done by Dr. Keith Meister in Dallas, TX where he implemented an extra brace inside my elbow to provide added stability for throwing. Since the surgery, my elbow has never felt healthier and I have reached my pre-surgery velocities with all my pitches while continuing to train to throw as hard as possible.
