COMPETING AT DOWN UNDER WORLD SERIES FOR U20 BLUE SOX (April 3 – 8)
Grady’s primary position is catcher, but he can also slot in at left field and the corner infield positions, so he adds versatility to a club’s roster.
He has good plate discipline, as well as power (he is a competitive power lifter, as well). He is an above-average defensive catcher with a strong throwing arm who frames pitches well and has good leadership qualities.
Grady is a very supportive teammate who is a vocal leader who brings much passion and a positive outlook to any team he plays for.
He also has a lot of coaching experience that he can bring to a club. He has been an assistant coach and later head coach for teams of youths aged 6 to 12 years, and he has also served as an assistant at the high-school level.
