I want to coach baseball overseas because I love to travel and have not been overseas yet, I also want to share my love and knowledge of the game around the world. I am certain my experience and knowledge from pro ball in the US will be extremely valuable to the amateur game overseas. I have 47 years involved in organized baseball and am a former MiLB/MLB roster player (1987) with the SF Giants from 1983-1988, and have been coaching since I lost my playing career. I know the fundamentals of every position and can teach them via my knowledge gained with passion and effective communication. I was a winner as a player and am as a coach, as I was named the 1986 Topps MiLB Player of the Year, with a 22-1 combined AA Texas League Record, and due to my efforts I was inducted into the AA Texas League Hall of Fame in 2008. Please do not let my age fool you, I keep myself in excellent condition though my days of pitching are long gone. I am married to a very supportive wife of 35 years and have 2 children, Carmen 21 and Miles 19, along with our dog Mr. Pickles. I live in the very corner of the Pacific Northwest in Bellingham WA., just a few clicks from the Canadian border and Vancouver B.C. I hope to chat with you should you need a coach that will bring a high paced, high energy, professional approach to your club.

For the past several years I’ve had the welcome opportunity to work with George Ferran, who served as the pitching coach for our summer collegiate team.
Based on that experience I can attest to his excellent rapport with players and exceptional commitment to their development, both on and off the field. His considerable baseball experience speaks for itself, enabling him to help players and teams work through all kinds of issues.
He was a most dependable member of our staff. We deeply regretted losing him due to work conflicts and would instantly retain his assistance if his schedule permitted.
George is a consummate coach and colleague. His knowledge of the game is off the charts and he has a way of communicating with players and coaches alike with patience and respect. I highly recommend coach Ferran to any team at any level if they are truly seeking a winning way done right.
George Ferran was a team mate of mine with the San Francisco Giants. Let me first say he had the best curve ball in the game, at any level, at that time. He is a sponge for knowledge, is likable, and is a natural leader. I cannot say enough in my recommendation of George to any program, at any level including Major League Baseball he is that good as a coach.
