Personal
As a player, I bring to the field a Strong defensive catcher who is good at stealing strikes, receiving, keeping runners close, and bringing a solid relationship with the pitching staff. As a hitter, I bring a Contact hitting catcher who is strong exit velo and can also hit for power and find any way to get on base. I’m an excellent situational hitter, as well as a good baserunner. My pop time is 1.9-2.2, and I run a 7.3 60-yard dash.
My abilities in my secondary position for playing the outfield are that I’m an athletic player who can adjust when needed to a new position. I bring the versatility to play the outfield based on my route running, High IQ in the field, and arm strength to play the corner outfield spot.
As a teammate, I bring a lot to the table. I play with a lot of built-up high energy, but I like to keep it loose in the dugout. I’m always talking with my teammates about little things that can be helpful. I’m always looking to help out my teammates in any way I can, whether that’s helping out the catchers as a whole while we are doing defensive work or hitting or even helping the pitchers if I’m ever asked. I am the most selfless person I can be to help everyone around me find ways to win.
Career highlights
In 2022, I was a part of the Hyannis Harbor Hawks in the Cape Cod League, where the team had made a deep run into the Playoffs, a game short of the Championship series, and the same in 2023.
This past year, in 2024, at Merrimack College, the team had made a deep run into the playoffs again, being one game short of the Championship series.
Also, in 2024, I played for Team Greece in this year’s Prague Baseball Week, where, as a team, we took home Gold in the “B” bracket. I hit .636 while playing the corner outfield and caught during those games.
In college, I’m a part of a group of older guys to help in the leadership role for the team, as at school, we do not name captains.
Coaching
What I bring to the table as a coach is a person who has been around some of the best young talent in the game. I would bring a players coach mentality to the table as well as putting an emphasis on being the best of the best in the fundimentals of the game, As I see the fundimentals of the game being THE most important aspect of the game.
Overseas Goals
I want to take my career overseas because I don’t feel I have yet reached my peak playing ability. I still have more to offer, and I’m not ready to give up playing when I know I can keep playing at a high level.

Additional testimonials:
Cole Velis, Hyannis Harbor Hawks, Assistant General Manager:
I cannot stress enough how much George meant to our team and how highly I want to recommend him to anywhere he may go next.George is an high character, energetic, passionate leader. It is a palpable difference for our ball club when he was in the club house versus days where he was away. It is energy that lifts a team into over performing and a ridiculous commitment to standing by his people, coaches, and teammates. You could ask him to catch barefoot the entire season, and he would do it with a smile, make it his shtick, and (most importantly) do it well.
Nick Johnson, Hyannis Harbor Hawks, General Manager
I’d be happy to talk about George. Honestly, he’s one of the best kids I’ve ever met. I’ve known him for three years, and he’s been a part of three of our teams during that time. George has always been a leader and the glue that holds our teams together.
He’s got an infectious personality and a natural ability to lead. He’s the kind of guy who makes everyone around him feel at ease. Over the last three years, he’s been catching some of the best college arms in the country, and having him on the field is like having another coach out there. All of our pitchers love him along with our coaching staff.
I really can’t recommend him enough. He’s a special player and an even better person.
