Personal

Geoffrey has exceptional control of his pitches.  His fastball velocity ranges in the mid-80s (mph) with arm side run, his slider in the low-70s, changeup in the low 70s and curveball in the high 60s.  He can serve as both a starting pitcher and reliever.

He has played third base, as well, so he offers some defensive versatility.

Geoffrey describes himself as “one of the hardest workers you’ll find.  I’m always in the weight room training, recovering, working on my flexibility and mobility.  I love to help guys make small adjustments, as well as offer moral support and advice here and there to help them make necessary changes to their swings, mechanics, etc.”

He continues to train and work out regularly to remain in top conditions and keep his baseball skills sharp.

He also has coaching experience at the youth level, so he can assist a team’s coaching staff.

Testimonials

Justin Sherman

Employer at JustinTime Baseball, Founder & President
justinsherman13@gmail.com

Justintimebaseball is a Westchester based youth baseball training company. We work with ages five through twelve year olds.

Geoffrey was hired as a Coach in the beginning of September with little to no Coaching experience, since then he has taken every opportunity to learn new skills, get better in every aspect and has taken on more responsibility due to his growth within JustinTime baseball. Geoffrey is kind, respectful, responsible and extremely hard working.

I recommend Geoffrey for any organization within any capacity.

It was an honor to coach Geoff for two years at Boston University. Geoff was a consummate player for our team. He was the type of guy that was the first to come to practice and the last to leave. He took every drill seriously and set an example for his teammates with his work ethic. He is coachable, great to be around, and most importantly he throws a ton of strikes!

Former Teammate, Former player at Sparta Praha

Geoff and I have been teammates since we played summer ball together when we were 10. A truly upstanding guy, Geoff is someone that can always be relied on to show up and put forth his best effort. Constantly working to improve his game, I have truly not seen someone work harder at their craft to get better. Constantly working out, pitching, and hitting, Geoff has a true love for the game of baseball. Can help out any team immediately, throws lots of strikes and consistently gets weak contact. FB casually sits in the mid 80s and able to retain velocity through the whole game. Can come in and get outs in any situation. Not a traditional hitter, but can still swing the bat well because of his strength. A great teacher as well, Geoff has a passion for expanding and teaching the game to young players. Just a guy you want on the field with your team.
