Erik is a tall pitcher who throws with an over-the-top motion.  His four-seam fastball tops out in the high 80s (mph).  He also features a slider (mid-70s), change-up (mid-70s), and curve (high 60s).  His key strikeout pitch is the fastball just above the zone that he gets hitters to chase.

Erik is a two-way player who also plays center field and has a strong throwing arm (low 90s mph).

He is a positive teammate and a vocal leader on the field.
