Personal

A power hitter with good discipline, and an efficient speed of arm across the diamond.

I have nearly started all my years at third base at the University of Indianapolis, but have experienced diversity in playing time.

I am a supportive and positive teammate who loves to create a welcoming and motivating environment. I am a grounding presence, especially during high-pressure situations, helping my team maintain focus and composure. I am open-minded and committed to inclusivity, always striving to be aware of unconscious biases and branching out to embrace diversity. My faith guides me, allowing God to work between my team and myself, adding a sense of purpose and integrity to my interactions.  Overall, I am a compassionate, grounded, and positive teammate who values inclusivity and approaches teamwork with a sense of purpose.

Career highlights

Mental Attitude Award 2019. RBI and Homerun Record holder at UIndy in 2024. First Team All-American NCFA D2.

Overseas Goals

I want to take my career overseas because of the opportunities it can provide and it is the perfect time to do it. I have a soulful mission myself of spreading Jesus’s story and this opportunity can sure be apart my personal testimony.

Similar lifts and have kept my diet similar, staying loose off the tee and front toss while fielding fungo.

Emily started almost every game of her career at 3rd base for us. She has a powerful bat that has the ability to change the game in one swing. Her hard work and dedication paid off as she earned NFCA First Team ALL-AMERICAN honors. She has a heart to serve others and given the opportunity to play overseas will provide an invaluable experience for her to share that.

New Palestine High School, Head coach

Emily is an outstanding athlete and an incredible person on and off the field. I was blessed to be Emily’s High School Coach and to watch her grow up in New Palestine from a young child to a fantastic young lady. She was a team leader along with one of the most fundamentally strong players that I’ve had the opportunity to coach. Her work ethic during practice and the weight room was crucial to her development as one of the best players in the state. She was selected as first team All-State and an Indiana senior All-Star. I would recommend Emily with the highest possible reference. Any questions please contact me at ebammarcum@aol.com.
