David Burns, BBJO founder, says, “I met Elias at the Finkstonball tournament in Austria this summer (2019) and although I didn’t see him play much, I can say that he possesses the attitude and character that clubs overseas seek in an import. Although I only got to see Elias play a little, I was impressed with what I saw after seeing him rope a double and make a nice play from deep in the 5-6 hole. Also, on a recent poll soliciting feedback from clubs in Europe on who is deserving of the “Ambassador of the Game” award, Elias received tremendous support from his current team in Switzerland.”

Career Highlights

  • Batted .556 with a 1.606 OPS for Embrach Mustangs in Switzerland in 2019

    • Had 22 RBI and 22 bases on balls in 18 games

    • Struck out just four times in 54 at bats

    • Was also the head coach/manager and was head of operations for the entire club – oversaw growth of four teams

  • Posted OPS figures of .940 and .860 in last two seasons at NCAA Division II Valdosta (GA) State (USA)

    • As a junior, helped lead the school to its first spot in the NCAA tournament in four seasons

    • As a senior, batted in the fifth spot and played every position except pitcher and catcher

  • In 2021 he signed on with the Stuttgart Reds of the German Bundesliga South and immediately made a big impact on the field and as a youth coach.

Elias has coaching experience in addition to his year managing the Embrach club.  He has coached in youth leagues and the high-school level.  In addition, he was player development coach at a premier baseball and softball training facility in Florida (USA).

2016 Seacoast Mavericks Futures Colleigiate Summer League Summer ball in the northeast. Starting left fielder for 22nd ranked summer team in the nation. Batted mainly second in front of IBC member Mike Hart.
2017 Valdosta State University NCAA DII Junior in top D2 conference (GSC). Started at 3rd base while batting 6th leading Valdosta State to NCAA Tournament for the first time in 4 years.
2018 Valdosta State University NCAA DII Senior at Valdosta State. Due to many team injuries played every position on the field throughout season except for pitcher and catcher. Batted 5th.
2019 Embrach Mustangs SBSF NLB My first experience as an import has been fantastic. I was brought in as a player manager for the 2019 season. I lead off and play SS everyday for the Embrach Club.
2021 Stuttgart Reds 1. Bundesliga Germany Starting Left Fielder and 2 hole for the Bundesliga 1 team.
2022 Brasschat Braves D1 KBBSF Starting 3B/SS and 5 hole for the D1 Belgian runner ups.
