As a high school player, I helped my team win back to back conference championships. I combined with other pitchers to record both a no-hitter and a perfect game during high school.
Pitched as a closer in college. I was the team leader in mound appearances, Saves and Strikeouts per 9-innings over two seasons at Guilford Tech (Highlights included 3 appearances in a conference tournament over a 3 day stretch that included a 3 inning appearance in the semi-finals where I struck out 7 of 10 batters faced).
Played two seasons for the Mooresville Spinners. In 2017 I tied the single season record for most mound appearances in the Carolina Virginia Collegiate league with 24 and set the single season record, for saves as a Spinner. I was also named to the Carolina Virginia League All Star Team. Returned to the Spinners for the 2018 summer season where helping the team WIN the 2018 Southern Collegiate Baseball League Championship. In 2019 signed a free agent contract to play in the Pecos League (U.S. Independent Professional Baseball League).
My fastball velocity has bounced from 89 up to 91 mph. I bring a competitive attitude to the mound, and never give in to a hitter. My goals are to play as long as I can compete and help my teams win. I have played overseas in Australia in 2018-19 where I recorded over 100 innings in 17 Games Started with 147 Strike Outs. I am hoping to return to another international team in 2021.
Currently I am leading a league in strikeouts per 9-innings at a pace of 18.2 K’s / 9-IP

I worked with Edward beginning when he was 11 years old. He has continued to grow as a player and pitcher over the years. Edward has played in some of the most competitive situations and done well over the years.
Ed played for our summer collegiate team in 2017 and is expected to return for the 2018 season. He is a great personality in the dugout and a fierce competitor on the mound. He has a strong arm and is very durable. Our fans love him, giving him the nickname last year as "Big Daddy". He has the ability to shut down the opponent with an aggressive, competitive tempo on the mound.
I coached Ed in 2017 with the Spinners. I would not want to compete against him. His intensity on the mound made him stand out on our staff. He is always ready to play. Ed is physically strong and competes hard. He was a great teammate and supported others when he was not playing. This is a young man that I would love to coach again one day.
