Personal

As a hitter I bring a dynamic bat to the lineup, I hit for power from the left side and have the ability to hit guys in, get on base, steal bags, and hit for average as well. I have a good baseball IQ and can hit in situations with ease and understanding. I have great range in the outfield, I cover a lot of ground and have plus arm throwing as well 90+ MPH I have topped out at 97 MPH from the outfield. On the bases I am a 6.7 60 time runner and am able to get good jumps and cover a lot of ground.

In my secondary positions I excel because I can cover a lot of ground. I get good reads off the bat and make a lot of plays in the gaps. I adapt well and can play where ever I am put.

As a teammate I bring energy, a winning culture, and I lead by example. I speak up when it is needed, and I make sure everyone out their with me is ready to win every inning.

Career highlights

Including Junior College I have hit over 30 home runs, over 100 RBI. I was named 2nd Team All Conference 2022, and All Tournament Team 2022 (NSIC conference). This season I hit .300, scored 43 runs, had 46 RBI, hit 14 HR, 17 Doubles, 12 stole  bases and had 5 assists from the outfield.

Overseas Goals

I would like to experience the world, and be able to showcase my talent to it. I know I can be great, and I feel this is a good place to start.

To stay in shape I have a workout regiment that I stick to. Four days a week and one of those is cardio. I focus on core and legs and throw in upper body once a week as well. I make sure to eat right and maintain good standing with my athleticism.

Scott Eul

Minot State Baseball, Head Coach

My name is Scott Eul and I am the head baseball coach at Minot State. I have had the pleasure of coaching Drew Behling for the last years. Drew has been a phenomenal asset to our program in many ways. To start, off the field he has been great working our youth clinics, and in the community doing our community service. He is a kid that the youth can look up to and enjoy being around.
On the field, Drew has been a tremendous competitor. In the outfield he has been a tremendous asset showing off both his range and the ability to shut down a run game with his arm. At the plate Drew has the ability to be a true game changer. His power is legit to all fields when he is locked in. There are some swing and misses, but his ability to find a barrel has won us plenty of games here. With an approach with some room to continue to clean up, I think his best days are still ahead. He does have some speed on the bases as well, and with a bit more aggressiveness he could be a legitimate base stealer too.
I couldn’t be happier to recommend Drew as a potential player in any organization and someone is going to be lucky to have him.
