Drake hits for average and consistently posts good on-base percentages.  He has outstanding speed, having run the 60-yard dash in as little as 6.4 seconds.  The speed helps him on the base paths and defensively, enabling him to get to balls many others cannot.  He has a strong arm, as well, with velocity on his throws reaching into the mid-90s (mph).

Though primarily an outfielder during his collegiate career, he has played infield previously, was  starting pitcher in high school, and did some relief pitching in college, so he offers versatility to a club.

He is a very energetic and supportive teammate who regularly spends extra time putting in the work necessary for continual improvement.  He continues to train and play in summer leagues to keep his skills sharp and be ready for future opportunities.

Drake, whose father was formerly a professional baseball coach and major league scout, would also be interested in working with a club’s coaching staff.
