Dondrei is a two-sport athlete out of Houston, Texas who won All-Conference Honors in both baseball and football at Mayville State University and is now looking to pursue a career in baseball after graduating this year with two business degrees.

In 2015, Dondrei played his first collegiate season of baseball after sitting out the prior two seasons because of a redshirt and broken ankle. In his first season back playing he made the Academic All-Confernce team.

In 2016, Dondrei was an All-Conference Catcher in baseball and an All-Conference running back in football.

In 2017, he put up even bigger numbers and was named to the All-Conference team as an outfielder. He batted .388 with an OBP of .454 with 60 RBI’s and 11 homeruns. He also did some damage on the bases stealing 11 bags and scoring 38 runs.

After graduating college Dondrei went to play club ball in Australia that same winter. In his first 5 games of club ball competition he hit 4 homeruns in his first 5 games and made some pretty big noise early.  They hype was big enough that Dondrei earned a spot on the local professional team (Melbourne Aces), but because of disagreements with the club he was able to be a member of the team but he was not allowed to play in a games.

In 2018 Dondrei signed to play for one of the top teams Europe (Draci Brno) and immediately made an impact. He finished the regular season with being top 10 in the league in every offensive category, including having the leagues second best batting average of .457 and also being second in the league in doubles with 12. Dondrei also tore it up on the base paths successfully stealing 13/13 bases.

Dondrei can be a valuable asset to any team searching for a excellent utility player. Behind the plate, he has a pop time under two seconds. At the plate, he hits the ball hard and has an exit velocity over 100 mph. From the outfield, he has topped out at throwing 91 mph. And on the bases, he has a 60-time around 6.8 seconds. He is now looking to travel the world as much as possible while using baseball as his ticket. Coaching is his passion and he would like the opportunity to be an ambassador of the game overseas.
