I attended Saint Mary’s College in California for four years and manage to work hard on my craft to the point where it lead me to get First Team All Conference my redshirt Junior year in 2014. In that same year, I was able to perform well enough to get drafted by the Kansas City Royals in the 33rd round. Although I didn’t play long for the Royals, I manage to collect a couple good hit streaks and go Top 10 Sportscenter Highlight recognition for a diving play in 2015. I ended up getting released in 2016 but I learned a lot while playing the game of baseball while I was in the Royals organization.

I didn’t play in 2016 due to no teams in need of players at the time. I went to this winter league in Florida and got picked up Birmingham Bloomfield Beavers in the United Shore Professional Baseball League (a new league). During that 2017 season with the Beavers, I managed to become 2nd in Hits, 8th in Batting Average, 11th in Runs scored, 3rd in Triples, 7th in Walks and 2nd in Stolen Bases. In addition, the Beavers won the championship that year. The following year I got picked up by the San Rafael Pacifics in the Pacific Association of Professional Baseball Clubs. During that 2018 season with the Pacifics, I was 4th in Batting Average, 2nd in Runs scored, 1st in Hits (Broke the Hits record for the League), 11th in doubles, 4th in triples, 17th in walks and 1st in Stolen Bases. Also, we ended up winning the championship as well.

As a player I bring a lot of energy and excitement to the field. I am always smiling and looking at things as a process more so than just a result. I am not the most talented player but I utilize my abilities the best way I know I can to help a team get in position to win games. I am a quick twitch switch hitting outfielder/second baseman that puts a lot of pressure on defenses because of my ability to put the ball in play and my ability on the bases. Also, I am a very good defender that doesn’t make too many errors mentally or physically. I am well aware of the type of player I am and don’t go out of my strengths.

Abilities summary: Contact Hitter that can put the ball in play and utilizes his speed on the bases. Very Good Outfielder with range and an average arm.

I first saw him as a free agent in the South Florida Winter League in 2016, Which is where I offered him a contract… I am very particular on how I go about signing my players. DonAndre met every one of my criteria as, ranging from his personality, to his work ethic, to how he approached the game and played the game and his teammates. He hit leadoff for me the entire season which culminated in our first championship… He was but loved by all of his teammates as well as the opposing players. I think so highly of DonAndre that if he ever decided to start his coaching career, I would hire him in a second. He comes from a wonderful family and the love and respect that he has for our great game of baseball is second to none. Every organization would be extremely lucky to have someone like him in it, as I know I sure was!
