Personal
I am a professional catcher with experience handling a pitching staff, calling games, receiving, blocking, controlling the running game, and managing the defensive side of the game. I take a lot of pride in my preparation and baseball IQ, particularly when it comes to working with pitchers and developing a game plan.
Offensively, I am a competitive hitter who looks to have quality at-bats, control the strike zone, drive the baseball, and contribute in different situations rather than relying on one approach. I am comfortable hitting for power while also adjusting my approach based on the game situation. I can bunt, hit, and run as well.
As a catcher, I bring a combination of defensive reliability, communication, leadership, athleticism, and experience. I understand that an everyday catcher has responsibilities beyond catching the baseball. I take ownership of the pitching staff, communicate with the infield and outfield, control the running game, and help keep the team organized throughout the game.
I also bring professional experience and understand the expectations that come with playing every day over a long season. I am competitive, prepared, coachable, and willing to do whatever helps the team win.
My primary position is catcher, but I also have experience playing first base at a high level in the Western Canadian Baseball League (WCBL). My primary value is behind the plate, but I am comfortable moving to first base when needed and understand the importance of being versatile on an international roster.
I am also comfortable contributing offensively and on the bases rather than viewing myself strictly as a defensive catcher. I take pride in being a complete baseball player who can contribute in multiple areas and am willing to take on whatever role gives the team the best chance to win.
I consider myself a team-first player and someone who takes a lot of pride in being a good teammate. I try to bring positive energy to the clubhouse and dugout while also understanding when the team needs someone to be focused and locked in.
As a catcher, I naturally take on a leadership role because of the amount of communication required during a game. I enjoy building relationships with pitchers, learning what makes each pitcher successful, and helping them feel confident and prepared. I lead primarily by example through preparation, effort, competitiveness, and consistency, but I am also comfortable being vocal when the situation calls for it. I want to be the type of teammate who makes everyone around him better.
Over my five years of college baseball and two years of professional baseball, I have had the opportunity to play with teammates from many different countries and backgrounds. I genuinely enjoyed getting to know my teammates away from the field by learning about their languages, food, cultures, and experiences. I think that experience has prepared me well for playing overseas because I enjoy meeting new people, learning from others, and becoming part of a team and community.
I also enjoy helping teammates whenever I can, whether that means working with a teammate in the cage, helping a pitcher prepare for an opponent, talking through an approach, or simply bringing energy to the dugout. I understand that playing overseas is also about representing the club well off the field and being someone that teammates, coaches, and the local community can rely on.
Career highlights
I have played two seasons of professional baseball in an MLB Partner League, following a successful college career at both the JUCO and NAIA levels.
I began my college career at Indian Hills Community College in Centerville, Iowa. During my time there, our team reached the JUCO World Series in 2021 and the Region 11 Championship in 2022. My biggest individual accomplishment at Indian Hills was being named Region 11 Iowa Community College Defensive Player of the Year.
Following my JUCO career, I played for the Regina Red Sox of the Western Canadian Baseball League (WCBL). In 2022, I helped the team reach the Eastern Conference Finals and was named WCBL Rookie of the Year. I returned to Regina in 2024 and was selected to the WCBL All-Star Game as the starting catcher.
I then played three seasons at LSU Shreveport, where I was a 3x RRAC Gold Glove Catcher and 2x All-Conference Catcher. In 2025, we won the NAIA National Championship with a perfect 59-0 record. Following the championship, I was selected to the NAIA All-Tournament Team for my offensive and defensive performance throughout the tournament. Being part of an undefeated championship team taught me the importance of preparation, consistency, accountability, and doing whatever role is necessary to help a team succeed.
After graduating from LSU Shreveport, I immediately signed my first professional contract with the Grand Junction Jackalopes of the MLB Partner Pioneer Baseball League in the summer of 2025. In my rookie professional season, I played 39 games and hit .291/.443/.436. Defensively, I gained valuable professional experience calling games, working with a pitching staff, and managing the defensive side of the game.
In 2026, I continued my professional career with the Yuba-Sutter Freebirds of the Pioneer Baseball League, playing a full 96-game professional schedule. I caught 60 games and hit .297/.389/.455 while continuing to develop as an everyday professional catcher and gaining another full season of experience managing and working with a professional pitching staff.
Overall, I have experience playing in championship environments, international summer baseball, and two seasons of professional baseball. I believe that combination of experience has prepared me to step into an overseas club and contribute both on the field and within the clubhouse.
Coaching
While my primary role is as a professional player, I also bring experience as a catching and hitting instructor. As a professional catcher, I have developed a strong understanding of receiving, blocking, throwing, game calling, working with pitchers, hitting approach, and preparation. I enjoy sharing that knowledge with younger players and helping them understand both how to perform a skill and why it matters.
My coaching philosophy is centered on fundamentals, preparation, communication, confidence, and accountability. I believe in creating a positive environment while giving players clear, constructive feedback and challenging them to improve. I enjoy working with players of different ages and skill levels and would be excited to contribute to a club through both playing and coaching.
Overseas Goals
I want to take my career overseas because I want to continue playing high-level competitive baseball while experiencing different baseball cultures around the world.
After two seasons of professional baseball in the United States, I am excited about the opportunity to challenge myself in a new environment, learn from different coaches and players, and continue developing as a professional catcher.
I also believe I can bring value to an international club beyond what I do on the field. I enjoy building relationships with teammates, sharing knowledge, helping younger players, and becoming part of the community surrounding the club.
I am looking for an organization where I can contribute as an everyday catcher, compete for championships, continue developing my game, and make a positive impact on and off the field.
I am especially interested in experiencing different countries and baseball cultures and building relationships that can continue throughout my professional career.
Current Fitness Level
I have been competing professionally throughout the 2026 season, so I have remained active in a full professional baseball environment. Throughout the season, I have continued to catch regularly, work with pitching staffs, hit, throw, and maintain my strength and conditioning.
Following the season, my focus will be on recovery and then transitioning into an offseason training program designed to maintain my strength and athleticism while improving mobility, explosiveness, conditioning, and overall durability.
I will continue to train consistently, hit, throw, and work on my catching throughout the offseason so that I am prepared to report to my next club in game-ready condition. I will also be giving catching and hitting lessons at my local baseball facility, which will keep me actively involved in the game while allowing me to continue developing my knowledge and ability to teach the game.
I take my preparation seriously and want to arrive at my next club physically prepared to handle an everyday role and contribute immediately.
