I am a competitive, humble, team player. I bring good energy to the yard and have good baseball instincts and confidence when I step in the box. I take charge in centerfield and play aggressive because I want the ball and want outs when I’m on defense. I can throw a guy out at the plate. I can steal bags.

I’ve played in big time stadiums against big time teams and have experience on what it takes to win. I excelled against top ranked teams like Vanderbilt, Oregon State, Arkansas, Michigan, and Arizona to name a few.

I’m a tough AB, grinding out pitches and finding a way to put the ball in play. I have sneaky pop with Gap power.

If you need me to pitch I could go and inning or two in relief.

Abilities summary: Hit for average, gap power, I can go an inning or two in relief.

Daniel is awesome. Elite cf. left-handed hitter. All-WCC. More in the tank. Son of MLB player and coach Mark. He can pitch!!! Lh arm. Couldn’t come with a better recommendation. He’s the template.

Bradley Marcelino

University of San Diego, Hitting Coach/Recruiting Coordinator

Daniel Gardner is one of my favorite players to have recruited and played for me and I have recruited and coached 60+ players now that have moved on to the MLB. He is someone that is a quiet leader and plays the game the right way with the ability to take a game over. His ability to defend the middle of the field in CF is one that is the best I have seen and that in itself is an impact tool. Offensively Daniel will hit at the top to middle of any lineup overseas and will provide you with a tough at bat and the ability to execute with some pop. Whoever signs Daniel will get a player that will impact an organization in an effort to win a championship.
