I had the pleasure of coaching Dan for 5 seasons. On the field he was the ultimate competitor. He was an imposing left handed pitcher who threw 3 pitches, and had swing and miss stuff. He always played a critical role on our pitching staff, be it as a starting pitcher, or our closer. Off the field Dan was even more impressive. His attitude and selflessness are second to none. He was always fun to be around, supported his teammates 100% and was extremely coachable. Dan certainly has the ability to pitch at the next level and whoever is lucky enough to give him that opportunity won't regret it.
