Personal

Daisy has good power to all fields.  She thrives in pressure situations, can hit behind runners, and drive in runs.

She began her collegiate career as an infielder able to play anywhere, but first base is now her specialty, as she played there throughout college.  However, she has continued to practice at other positions and has played elsewhere during summer leagues, so she can slot in wherever needed.

Daisy is a leader, whether vocally of by example.  She is the type who works to build relationships and gain the trust of her teammates and coaches.  She is a team-first person and will do anything to make sure each of her teammates is comfortable and able to work hard. “My best interest is always in my team through good and bad times,” she says.

Coaching

She has been a private instructor and a coach at youth camps and would be excited about assisting a team’s coaching staff.  She says, “I am always willing to listen to others and learn. If I were to coach, I would coach how I have been taught, by learning from others and how they’ve been coached as well.”

Overseas Goals

Daisy is excited about the twin opportunities of playing professionally overseas and experiencing different parts of the world.  “I have always dreamed of playing pro as a kid,” she says.  “Now that I have completed my collegiate career, I want to also start traveling the world. Once I heard I could do both, it intrigued me immensely.”

Cal State Fullerton Assistant Coach

Daisy is one of the best athletes I have ever worked with, a true character individual that led our team as ‘the captain'. She understands the meaning of servant leader and emulates it on a daily basis. As an offensive powerhouse, she has hit some of the furthest balls I have ever seen hit by a softball player. Her defensive skills have allowed her to play multiple positions but has held it down as our starting first baseman for all 5 years of her collegiate career. Having Daisy as part of your team will only elevate your program.
