What I bring to the table

Corbin Paxton has the ability to hit to all sides of the field, with the ability to hit for average and power to all sides of the diamond. His exit velocity is around the upper 80’s and shows very strong defensive skills on the right side of the field at the first base position. Corbin has seen time playing the outfield both in high school and college showing off a plus arm for a primarily first baseman. He has a 1.000 fielding percentage from the outfield in his college career. He also has the ability to pitch doing so all throughout his high school career and made one appearance in the NYCBL in the summer of 2018.

Corbin would like to take his career overseas because it’s a great opportunity for him to continue his success and level of commitment and passion to a new part of the world. Having four different coaches in his five years playing college baseball, he has learned a handful of different styles of play and would love to spread his knowledge of the game and what he has learned throughout his career to new parts of the world.

Corbin is able to show his dedication to his team and teammates by always working hard and putting in the extra effort to make his game better. He is able to lead by example and loves sharing his knowledge of the game to help those around him to also improve their game.

Coaching

Corbin has not yet had the chance to coach, but would like to take any chance to help out.

Overseas Goals

Corbin would like to take his career overseas because it has been a goal of his to continue playing the game of baseball for as long as he can. This is a great way for him to achieve both goals of traveling and meeting/learning about new cultures and people along the way.

Corbin is a great teammate and will do whatever the team needs. He is an outstanding defensive first baseman and I have seen save many plays because of ability to the pick bad throws. He will be a great addition to a team overseas.

I coached Corbin for 4 years during his high school career. In my 16 years of coaching I’m not sure I have coached a more hardworking, detail oriented, high character kid! His hard work paid off for us, Corbin received numerous accolades in his four years. In my baseball background, there is no doubt in my mind that Corbin can help a team at the next level. Giving this kid a chance to chase a dream, is all he needs!
