Connor is in his Senior year at Central Pennsylvania College after spending one season at NCAA D3 Virginia Wesleyan University and one season at NJCAA D2 Anne Arundel Community College. In addition to his college career, he has traveled with summer teams to Europe for competition on five separate occasions (58 games vs Olympics, National and CBLE teams). Once with Planet Baseball to Germany and Prague Baseball Week in 2015, twice with CBLE where he played with the Sant Boi Barcelona (Spain) Falcons in 2016 and 2017 (Great Britain, France, Spain, Holland, Belgium), and twice with the AAU USA International Collegiate Team in 2018 and 2019 (Spain, Ireland, Scotland). He is an OF/2B who put up an impressive slash of .412/.440/.688 in his Junior season at Central Pennsylvania College, earning All-America honorable mention.

He also has JUCO coaching experience and is a certified umpire for collegiate and Little League Baseball and Softball©. He played two years (2015-2016) in the MLB Washington Nationals Youth Baseball Academy League and in 2015 at the age of 16, Connor was invited to play for the Philadelphia Phillies Scout Development Team. During autumn 2019, he tournament-guest played for the Harford Hurricanes of the highly competitive Susquehanna Semipro Baseball League, a semi-pro league which features some of the Mid-Atlantic’s top talent of former professional and college players. He is an alumnus of national baseball player development powerhouse MVP Baseball (Santa Barbara, Calif.), which has produced numerous MLB players including Carson Fulmer (White Sox), Felipe Lopez (Reds) and Drew Henson (Yankees).

Some interesting facts about Connor is he comes from a diamond sports family: he has a cousin in the MLB Hall of Fame (Edd Roush, Cincinnati Reds), one of his grandfathers played semipro, his sister played women’s college softball and coaches high school softball, and his father is in the AAU Baseball Hall of Fame (Maryland). Another cousin is Jack Roush of NASCAR motorsports racing fame.

Testimonials

Robert Stern

Central Pennsylvania College, Head Coach
RobertStern@centralpenn.edu

I’ve had the pleasure of coaching Connor for the 2018-2020 Collegiate Baseball seasons at Central Penn College, where he lead the team in 3 offensive categories in his first year on the team as a Junior. Connor is a dedicated ball player and even a better teammate. Connor is always a positive influence to his teammates and also the coaching staff. Out of the ball players I have coached over the last 32 years I have never seen anyone that worked harder in the off season to prepare themselves for the upcoming season than Connor. Connor achieved USCAA All American as well Academic All American Honors for the 2018-2019 season. I look forward to working with Connor this upcoming season to see the milestones he will accomplish for the 2019-2020 Season.

I first had the pleasure of coaching Connor as a player; then working with him as a coach on my coaching staff. Connor is an excellent individual. His many qualities, including his hard work and leadership are easy to see on the baseball field. Connor is a great player who has had success at all levels of baseball. He’s a great hitter with an even better knowledge of the game. However, his greatest quality is his positive influence on his teammates and his ability to lift them up and help everyone achieve their best.

Connor has achieved great things as a player because of his dedication and hard work. His commitment to getting better is the biggest reason why he has become the player he is. Every coach wants players like Connor who have the drive and talent to become the best they can be. I am very proud of all he has accomplished.
