Connor is in his Senior year at Central Pennsylvania College after spending one season at NCAA D3 Virginia Wesleyan University and one season at NJCAA D2 Anne Arundel Community College. In addition to his college career, he has traveled with summer teams to Europe for competition on five separate occasions (58 games vs Olympics, National and CBLE teams). Once with Planet Baseball to Germany and Prague Baseball Week in 2015, twice with CBLE where he played with the Sant Boi Barcelona (Spain) Falcons in 2016 and 2017 (Great Britain, France, Spain, Holland, Belgium), and twice with the AAU USA International Collegiate Team in 2018 and 2019 (Spain, Ireland, Scotland). He is an OF/2B who put up an impressive slash of .457/.576/.957 in his Senior and .412/.440/.688 in his Junior seasons at Central Pennsylvania College, earning All-America honorable mention.
He also has JUCO coaching experience and is a certified umpire for collegiate and Little League Baseball and Softball©. He played two years (2015-2016) in the MLB Washington Nationals Youth Baseball Academy League and in 2015, at the age of 16, Connor was invited to play for the Philadelphia Phillies Scout Development Team. During autumn 2019, he tournament-guest played for the Harford Hurricanes of the highly competitive Susquehanna Semipro Baseball League, a semipro league which features some of the Mid-Atlantic’s top talent of former professional and college players. He is an alumnus of national baseball player development powerhouse MVP Baseball (Santa Barbara, Calif.), which has produced numerous MLB players including Carson Fulmer (White Sox), Felipe Lopez (Reds) and Drew Henson (Yankees).
Some interesting facts about Connor is he comes from a diamond sports family: he has a cousin in the MLB Hall of Fame (Edd Roush, Cincinnati Reds), one of his grandfathers played semipro, his sister played women’s college softball and coaches high school softball, and his father is in the AAU Baseball Hall of Fame (Maryland) and member of the AAU Baseball National Executive Committee. Another cousin is Jack Roush of NASCAR motorsports racing fame.
