Personal

As a catcher I consistently pop a sub 1.99 and call good games. I am fast in the OF and have an exceptional arm from there as well. I am a very defense oriented player but I don’t ignore hitting either. In college, in the ACC I was the 2-hole hitter and in Pro Ball I’ve hit in every lineup spot 1-9. I was drafted by the Detroit Tigers in the 13th round in 2018.
I am primarily a catcher. My secondary positions are RF/LF/CF. I had AAA experience in the OF from May-October of 2021 and while I only played 15 games in the OF, I caught in the bullpen everyday (Matt Manning, Will Vest, Miguel Del Pozo, Alex Lange, Ian Krol, Locke St. John, Robbie Ross, Buck Farmer, and Mark Leiter) and learned from big league experienced catchers: Juan Centeno, Eric Haase, Dustin Garneau, and Greyson Greiner. In my OF experience, I was lucky enough to learn from Jacoby Jones, Derek Hill, Christin Stewart, Riley Green, and Daz Cameron. My speed is a big part of my game defensively and I take efficient routes to fly balls. I have a very strong arm and am accurate from the OF as well. Being in AAA throughout the year and into the post-season gave me experience that I will never forget.
I am a very team oriented person and believe that the team comes first. I make a point to know my pitching staff and try to work well and understand them on a personal level. I bring a positive energy that keeps the tone light but still advocates hard work and effort. I will always stop to help anyone who asks for help and love spreading my knowledge of the game.
