Personal

Cade is a power pitcher who features a fast ball, slider and change-up.  His fast ball ranges in the low-90s (mph), his slider in the mid-80s and his change-up in the mid-80s.

He has been unable to play in recent years because of an injury, but he is now back at 100 percent.  He previously played two seasons of club ball at Purdue University, an NCAA Division I school.

Currently, Cade is a throwing trainer for the well-known Driveline baseball training facility.  He utilizes the newest advancements in baseball technology to apply a data-driven approach to baseball development.

He trains six days a week and participates in live at-bats against professional hitters.

He has used his experience at Driveline to improve as a player – he struck out six batters and allowed just one hit in four innings for the Driveline team – and as a coach.  He served as head coach of the Driveline 11-Under team and he worked with other athletes between the ages of 9 and 16.

In addition, Cade provided in-depth data analysis for the Purdue baseball team during his collegiate years.  He would be interested in assisting the coaching staff of any team he plays for.

Overseas Goals

Cade wants to get back into the game as a player, and he also is very interested in traveling and experiencing new places and people.

Joel Condreay

Colorado Rockies/Driveline Baseball, Pitcher/Online Throwing Trainer

I definitely recommend Cade. I train with him everyday, and he'll absolutely be one of the most knowledgeable and hardest working players on whatever team he's on, and he has excellent work habits. He's a very good arm that's going to attack hitters. You'll never have issues with Cade off the field, and he has an easygoing personality that will help
him fit into the clubhouse.

Aaron Rhodes

Cade Johnson will be a great addition to whichever professional team gives him the opportunity. Cade's strong work ethic and high level of accountability allow him to flourish in his pursuit of constantly improving his skillset, both on and off the diamond. As a player, he exerts a true dedication to master his craft, and off the field, the experience he continues to gain as a coach and Business Associate at Driveline Baseball further enhance the value he can bring to a professional club.

Ben Harley

Cade is someone that any team will want in their dugout. Over the last year of working with him, seeing him train and coach our youth teams at Driveline, he brings a work ethic and a skill set that will enhance any locker room. Cade is someone that can be trusted to get whatever job done that is assigned, and will do it with great detail. I can’t recommend enough that you take a serious look at signing Cade Johnson to your organization.
