Representing the Province of British Columbia, playing college ball and now overseas for two years, I know what it takes to be successful and what it takes to get to the next level. Over the last two years, I’ve been the head coach of the Tubingen Hawks (Germany) U18 team, and recently been assistant coach of the Richmond City Baseball U18 College Prep team in British Columbia (Canada).  Being around baseball for 17 years I’ve had the pleasure to play for great coaches and have learned a lot from them, hopefully I can pass along what I’ve learned down to the younger players I’m happy to help with baseball camps throughout the summer, and introduce baseball to kids who have never played before. When it comes to playing, I’m a left handed hitter who can hit gap to gap, hit for average and can hit in any part of the lineup. When I’m not catching I can play any position, preferably middle infield or outfield. When not catching or playing other positions, I a strong command of a fastball, changeup and splitter on the mound. My hard working demeanour and positive attitude reflects my play and performance on the field.

summary: Someone who can play any position, sub 2 pop time, and a hitter who can hit to all fields and hit for average, can hit in any part of the lineup, strong command of fastball, changeup and splitter,  hard working with a positive attitude and willing to go the extra mile.

I have observed Brayden excel as a leader both on and off the field. He consistently demonstrates his commitment to individual and team development through his determination and initiative to achieve personal and team goals. He has a natural ability to build connections with his teammates, facilitating a positive environment and fostering confidence in those he interacts with. His hard-working demeanour and positive attitude combine to reflect a confident and assertive individual who is vested in ensuring he performs to the best of his ability. I have complete confidence in his baseball skills and leadership abilities.

Alex Tufts

Tübingen Hawks, Head coach

For two seasons I had the pleasure to coach Brayden and also work with him in a coaching capacity. He’s extremely versatile on the field and excels defensively as a catcher. He has great instincts and is always a tough out at the plate. He was an integral part of our team’s success both offensively and defensively. Coaching wise, Brayden exhibits skills that are atypical of his peers. His knowledge and approach to coaching is well beyond his age. He’s able to coach adults and kids effectively. I firmly believe that his mature and responsible demeanour allow him to lead any club as he successfully did in Tübingen for two years. Brayden would be an excellent choice for any team seeking a player/coach. He’s extremely self-sufficient and has handled all aspects of living abroad well. He’s eager to help out with kids camps, field work, and any other activities and challenges that keep amateur baseball clubs alive.

Raul Verde Rios

Richmond City Baseball, Head Coach

As a player: He played three seasons for the Richmond city baseball association in the AAA and college prep league and was very successful on this program. He had the skills to play any position in the field including being a catcher or a pitcher. Offensively he had a good approach at the plate. He was an aggressive hitter with good hand eye coordination and good bat speed that made him dangerous at the plate. he was the best player on the team for the three years he played on this program finishing with over .400 Avg., he was a game changer. He possessed good work ethic showing up on time and always being present at all practices and games, he was well-liked by peers and was a leader to the team.. As a coach: Brayden is bright young man that is passionate and dedicated to baseball. His work ethic and commitment to the sport is one of his fortes. After playing for three years on the team, he continued helping the program for another two years training and coaching the 15-17 years group He was good in engaging players and has well-rounded knowledge of the baseball fundamentals, techniques and skills necessary to teach players successfully.

“Brayden is a gap to gap hitter that hits for average and has the ability to steal a base. On defense his strength is versatility. Primarily used as a catcher, he blocks well and has a good throwing arm but can step immediately from behind the plate into center field without missing a beat. He has the confidence of a natural leader and will deliver in pressure situations. Brayden is a good teammate and a hard worker.”
