I’m a right handed hitting outfielder that can hit for average and power. My top exit velos are in the mid-100s MPH. I have above average speed and get good reads in the outfield and take efficient routes to balls. I run the bases aggressively and can steal bases.

2022 was my first season as a pitcher. I have a low 3/4 arm slot and feature a 2 seam, change up, curveball, and slider. FB velo is 80-83 MPH with a changeup that is 69-71. This past season I came out of left field during games to relieve in late innings in a set up/closer role. I pitched 10 innings and got lots of ground balls and weak contact.

I’m a super competitive and hard working player. I like to lead by example and always try to get my teammates to tag along for extra work. I’m very personable and able to connect with all different kinds of teammates. I have a pretty even keeled demeanor on the field but I play aggressively and to win.

Ben Gravel is a great baseball player and an even better human being. Ben has a tremendous work ethic, and I have first-hand seen him develop his baseball skills the last few years.
Ben was one of the best hitters that I had the fortune to coach when I was the hitting coach at Saint Joseph's College in Maine. Gravel is a true leader and mentor; he served as team captain of his college ball club the last two seasons.
Ben has a mature approach. He hits for average, but also puts up great power numbers as well. He handles all types of pitchers, LH and RH throwers. His swing features athletic actions which allow him to be on time for high velocity fastballs and adjust to softer and crafty arms. His defense has come tremendously far the last few seasons. He has turned himself from a slightly above average defender to an elite one. Ben gets good reads off the bat and takes great routes to the baseball. He has above average and accurate arm strength. Given his leadership abilities, work ethic, and ability to execute, Ben would be a great addition to any team or organization.

St. Joseph's College, Pitching Coach

Ben Gravel is a super great young man who is very serious about his baseball. He shows up everyday to work hard and improve his game, whether it's in the batters box or on the mound. As a hitter he always puts on good at-bats, and has the ability to drive the baseball in the gaps. Defensively he'll make all the plays, takes great routes on balls and gets the baseball in to second as quick as anyone. His work ethic is second to none and this year I was able to work with him as a pitcher and he showed a lot of drive to improve but also showed the ability to coach himself, work on his weaknesses and get the most out of his strengths which is rare for a college kid. On the mound he has a lot of movement and showed the ability to work the ball in and out on batters while changing speeds. As a young man I couldn't recommend him more, one of the most mature kids I've coached, who brings leadership but also knows how to enjoy himself and bring positive energy to his teammates.
