Armani is a line-drive, gap to gap power hitter with the ability to drive the ball out of the park.  He has primarily been a 3- or 4-hole hitter during his career but has also had experience hitting leading off and hitting in the 2-hole.

He has above average speed and runs a 6.7-60-yard dash which translates well into baserunning and is a smart baserunner that knows when to take the extra base or steal a base in a key situation. This also translates to the amount of ground he covers in the field defensively.

He is an all-defensive team caliber player in the outfield.  He has mainly played centerfield and positions himself well so that he can consistently cover from gap to gap.  His arm strength from the outfield consistently ranges from the high 80s to 90 (mph).

Though he has usually been an Outfielder he has experience at First and second base which means he can provide a team some additional versatility.

Armani was team captain for two seasons in college and has his Master’s degree in Sports Leadership from his University. He also has college coaching experience working directly with the Outfielders and hitters at Johnson & Wales University, all attesting to his leadership skills.

Over the past year he has continued to train and work out, playing in local leagues and traveling to train in the U.S, he also coached the outfield and hitters this past season (2021-2022) at Johnson & Wales University who won their second consecutive conference championship and had their second consecutive NCAA Regional appearance. Armani also has experience coaching college, high school, and youth hitters.

He continues to train and work out this off-season, where he plans on spending the winter in Dominican Republic training and preparing for the upcoming spring season Overseas.

He describes himself as one who will “fire a dugout up, and loves to keep up the energy whether I am playing, at practice or even just hanging out.” He is passionate about “being an impact person both on and off the field” and brings knowledge of the game and a high baseball IQ to an organization.

Coaching

Armani would also be looking to help run camps, assist as a player-coach, or be a specialized outfield or hitting coach. His previous coaching experience has been with ballplayers aged 12-24. During the 20/21 season, he led the outfield training program as a player, and continued to do so for the 21/22 season.

Overseas Goals

Armani wants to play baseball overseas to see how far he can take his career and “have an impact on a team, the organization and the community”. Ultimately, he would like to work his way up to an elite league overseas or a top-tier professional league in the United States. In school, he has completed a Master’s degree in Sports Leadership and believes he has much to offer from a player perspective, coaching perspective, and business perspective.
