2023: In Austria between two leagues (2 Bundesliga/ National League) hit a combined .362/.610/.523/1.133 (AVG, SLG, OBP, OPS). while pitching a 1.75 ERA. Along with playing helped as a Head Coach and led a team filled with 16u players to a 2 Bundesliga west championship. Also developed pitchers through pitchers practice and a Driveline routine for the players.
2022: in Switzerland in just 10 games(playoffs included) hit .358/.470/.600, 2 HR, 20 H, 20 RBI, 6 XBH and 12 BB. all while being a big part of the Championship playoff winning Therwil Flyers. Played 8 out of 9 positions(CF did not play) through his stint in Therwil.
Antonio is a very versatile player, having been both a starting pitcher and reliever while also seeing action at catcher, first base, and the corner outfield spots.
As a pitcher, he features a four-seam fastball (mid-to-high 80s mph), sinker (low- to mid-80s), cutter (mid-to-high 70s), and splitter (mid-to-high 70s).
Antonio has been described as one who is very diligent and smart with his work. He is a quiet leader in the dugout, leads by example, and is not afraid to communicate issues in a respectful manner. He can manage multiple personalities and push for a common goal. He is a good mentor to younger players.
