Personal

Angus is a middle infielder who can also play third base and center field.  As a young player, he has played a variety of other positions, as well, so he is ideal as a utility player who can add much flexibility to a club’s roster.

He has good speed, having run the 60-yard dash in as little as 6.6 seconds, which makes him a threat on the base paths and an asset in the outfield where he can run down balls hit into the gaps.  At the plate, his maximum exit velocity has reached as high as 105 (mph), so he has some pop in his bat.

Angus is a very supportive teammate with a positive outlook and is one who works to build solid relationships with others.  His focus is on team goals, rather than individual ones.

He works out and trains on a regular basis, hitting several times a week at a top baseball facility with colleagues who are in affiliated ball.  So he is ready for any opportunities that may present themselves.

In addition, he has youth coaching experience and is interested in also helping a club’s coaching staff.

Testimonials

Tyger Pederson

Saint Louis Cardinals, Hitting coach AA Springfield

Coach Angus is one of the best I’ve been fortunate to coach and be around. His aptitude to learn is extremely high and has a high willingness to learn and teach the game. He is very bright when it comes to understanding the swing. He has a ton of passion for the game as a player and a coach. He will be a positive contributor for any organization lucky enough to land him.
