Personal

Fastball velo in the mid to upper 80’s with 3 pitch mix (Fastball, Cutter, Sweeper)

High Energy guy, big on keeping guys up and focused. Intense player but always focused on the game, I pick things up and make sure teammates know (pitcher tipping pitches, defensive mis-alignments, hitter swings and how to pitch them). Have spent time as a college pitching coach and love player development and coaching.

Career highlights

Top 10 in French D1 in K’s and K/9

Coaching

I have spent several years leading pitching development and bring a strong base of knowledge to the most important position in the sport. I would bring experience with in game strategy and pitch calling for youth player development. With my connections to college coaches in the US I would also bring the potential of helping players that wish to play college baseball the opportunity to earn scholarships. My goal is to establish myself with an organization and help build something special within the community, something long-term everyone can be proud was built and built the right way.

Overseas Goals

I want to further my experience as a coach while I take classes online to finish my degree. I also want to play as much baseball as I can while I can.

Had to put playing on hold when Life took over and a career change happened. I play men’s league baseball and lift currently in AZ, I know I can still play and I know I can coach. Willing to fly in and throw and meet in person. I want to be an asset to a baseball club, someone that can help build this great game.

Mark LaCroix

Head Coach, Dakota College at Bottineau

To whom it may concern:

Mr. Stenson is a former pitching coach/recruiting coordinator at Dakota College at Bottineau. Mr. Stenson worked primarily with our pitching staff in helping them develop in multiple areas, examples being:

Mechanics
Velocity
Pitch Sequencing
Development of Secondary Pitches

In his time here at Dakota College at Bottineau he strongly worked with pitchers and had the ability to get the most out of the guys he had. He consistently held his pitchers to high standards and pushed them to higher levels. Mr. Stenson is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to the art of pitching. He is always researching and finding ways to help his guys become better players.

One of the strongest attributes that Mr. Stenson has is his ability to relate to players, but keeping it professional and telling them the truth. No matter what that truth might be, he will let his players known if they are doing well or tell them what needs to be improved/not holding up there end of the job.

Overall Mr. Stenson would be a great hire! He will make an impact on your team/players in a positive way.

Adam played college baseball for me at Dakota College of Bottineau. We have kept in touch over the years.

I think that he would be a great addition BBJO. Adam is a tremendous worker and always has been. He has a good personality to work with others, he has worked in the insurance field so customer service is a must.

I would hire him in a heart beat as an assistant coach on my staff any day.
