Personal

Aaron Portee, is a 6-2, 185 lb., outfielder from Lumberton, NJ

  • Was on the 2019 draft board but went undrafted and so far unsigned
  • Left handed hitter – fast hands, short swing – works through the ball nicely, starts with an open, narrow base and uses a leg lift trigger – flashes hard contact to pull side and the opposite field
  • Sprinter speed – 6.4 in the 60 yard dash – fast and smart on the base paths – attacks and moves well to the ball in the outfield
  • Working on my game everyday, getting bigger, faster and stronger
  • Ready to PLAY in the 2022/2023 season

I have followed Aaron since his Junior year in High School. I love his game! Very fast (6.43 60-time), he hits from the left side so he puts a lot of pressure on the defense even with ground balls.

Defensively he’s fast and quick enough to play Centerfield, has a decent enough arm to play right.

Personally I thought he should have gotten drafted after his junior year.

Aaron is an outstanding young man that comes from a great family. He is the kind of player and person that would be good for any organization.

I have been involved in baseball for many years. When I see someone that is athletic and has the God given tools (arm, bat, speed) I try to help . I turned down scouting jobs : not doing this for money. I am talking about Aaron Portee. He played for St Leo University the last two years. He was on this years draft board and was not drafted. This is one of the most talented kids , I have seen in years. He is 6’1 ,190, runs the 60 in 6.4 or better and has one hell of an arm, bats Left. When Aaron utilizes the opposite field more he will be a LEGITIMATE MLB Prospect, no doubt about that.
