On this page, we aim to clarify how Baseball Jobs Overseas works and how you can make the most of your membership. Our goal is simple: to help you put your best foot forward in pursuit of your overseas baseball (or softball) dreams.

Think of our service as a hybrid between self-service and a sports agency. We are here to guide and support members from registration through to signing a contract. However, much of the responsibility for securing a deal rests with you. Unlike a traditional agency, we don’t provide daily or weekly updates, and we don’t hand-hold our members through the process. This is what allows us to keep a membership with us affordable while focusing our time and energy on connecting the right players with the right opportunities.

Below is a clear breakdown of our members’ roles and our role in this process.

✔ Complete Your Profile Thoroughly
Your profile is your virtual tryout for international clubs. The more complete and polished it is, the better your chances of receiving offers. When you register, we create your profile and send you improvement suggestions—please follow them. We’ve also provided short videos on the account dashboard to help optimize your profile further.

✔ Educate Yourself
Research leagues, clubs, and realistic destinations. The better informed you are, the easier it will be to focus your search. Use our blog for insights, and if you have questions, reply to your original profile email thread so that Jimmy, Tim, or I can respond.

✔ Reach Out to Clubs
Once your profile is ready, use our database to connect with clubs. Not every club lists contact details, but with some digging, you can often find them on team websites. While many clubs prefer to contact players directly, proactive outreach has worked for a number of our members.

✔ Monitor Communications
Most of the time, clubs will contact you directly—via email, Instagram, or other platforms. Be diligent about checking your inbox (including your spam folder) and messages regularly.

🔹 Build & Improve Member Profiles
We create your initial profile using the information you provide and then suggest improvements. A complete profile is essential—we cannot recommend players with incomplete profiles missing multiple key elements.

🔹 Uncover Opportunities and Recommend Members
Each recruiting season, we contact teams about their import needs and share lists of players who match their criteria. This process involves ongoing communication with both recruiters and players as opportunities open and close.

🔹 Advise & Support Members
From your first profile submission to contract signing, we’re here to answer questions and provide guidance. If you receive an offer, let us know right away so we can help you evaluate it. Please remember to “reply all” to the original email thread so one of us can respond quickly. While we welcome your questions, we kindly ask you to avoid daily check-ins—this allows us to focus our efforts on building relationships with clubs and getting players signed.

Together, we can get this done! There are so many levels of play overseas and a good fit for just about anyone, whether you played at the lowest level of collegiate baseball or the highest level of professional baseball.
