In IBC E53 I interview Cody Cain, founder of the Perfect Game Academy (UK), who is in search of quality player-coaches to come work at the academy while also playing baseball within the United Kingdom. The opportunity to travel Europe while coaching is also available and and strong possibility for the right candidates.

An American graduate of the Lewis and Clark College baseball program, Cody has been living and working in London off and on since the mid 90’s. He has remained involved in baseball as a player and coach throughout his time in the UK and has most recently launched a baseball academy in 2014. As someone who has been heavily involved in UK baseball for 20 years, Cody has the right connections and has built a reputation as a knowledgeable baseball person. Now as his primary focus and employment, the academy has become exactly quite successful and is growing rapidly. He now has “more work than he can handle” and is on the lookout for any coaches or preferably player-coaches who desire to come live and work in baseball within the UK.

Preferably candidates would have an EU passport and have played at a high level of baseball, but he is open to non-EU residents as well who have the proper baseball background and knowledge. Coaching experience is obviously preferred but young players fresh out of college who enjoy working with kids are also urged to contact him.

Listen to IBC Episode 53 with Cody for more insight into this opportunity.
