In 2016, Baseball Jobs Overseas founder David Burns, along with two BBJO members playing in Austria at the time, take a road trip down to Bologna and Milan to visit with two teams in the Italian Baseball League. One team, Fortitudo Bologna, is a perennial league contender whereas the Novara Baseball Club, located 30 minutes out of Milan, was newly promoted to the league at the time and has since be relegated to the second division.
