The BBJO staff loves our jobs because we know that we’ve made a huge impact on the global development of this game, and have helped countless people experience the absolutely unforgettable all around the world. As we’re still looking for partners and sponsors to join us at the ABCA convention this upcoming January, we’d like to quantify just how impactful our members have become, and how far our reach really goes.
With our signings total running at just below 2,400 contracts, the graphic above illustrates the countries where our members have signed the most.
Our members have played and coached on all 6 inhabitable continents, in 40 different countries. The WBSC World Rankings include national baseball teams from 80 countries. Of these 80 countries, not all of them have national baseball leagues where locals can compete. Of the ones that do have national leagues, not all of them are capable or familiar with importing players and coaches from other parts of the world. So although we are constantly looking for new overseas baseball frontiers, 40 countries is a pretty impressive number!
Our best performing year in BBJO history was previously in 2019, where we recorded 244 members signed to summer ball contracts and 107 signed for the winter. This 2024 summer season, we have 219 recorded signings in 27 countries.

Annually our members sign over 300 contracts overseas. There are a variety of levels overseas which present opportunities for players and coaches, both aspiring and established professionals.
Moonshot is a baseball apparel company based out of Mannheim, Germany, and is owned and operated by a good friend of ours, Juan Martin.
