At the conclusion of the European season, Baseball Jobs Overseas (BBJO) members playing across Europe came together in Milan to face the Italian and Czech National Teams as both programs prepared for the upcoming European Championship.

For many players, this represented the highest level of competition they had ever experienced. For others—such as retired 13-year MLB veteran and World Series champion Jeremy Guthrie, and 11-year MLB veteran and Pulley frontman Scott Radinsky—it was a unique opportunity to be part of international baseball while sharing their knowledge and experience with teammates.

Pitcher Ethan Skuija, a content creator for Trevor Bauer’s Watch Momentum YouTube channel, brought a film crew to document his start against the Italian National Team. It marked his first time on the mound in two years, dating back to his days with the Savannah Bananas. Skuija last wore a Globetrotters uniform in 2022, when he led the team to a Prague Baseball Week championship by shutting down the Spanish National Team in the final.

The day prior to the games, Baseball Jobs Overseas hosted a free youth clinic in Milan. Leading the clinic were Guthrie, Radinsky, Skuija, and former AAA players and BBJO members Brandon McIlwain and Chris Proctor, who were competing in Italy at the time. They were joined by veteran international import pitcher Tim Brown, along with BBJO coaches Scotty Mulhearn, Jimmy Jensen, and Alper Bozkurt.

BBJO founder David Burns filmed the event, capturing a special weekend of international baseball, mentorship, and community engagement.
